Tour description

The tour starts at the Lamerden canoe entry point. Due to the low current, the tour offers inexperienced paddlers and school classes an easy introduction to paddling techniques. After approx. 1 hour you reach the weir in Eberschütz, where you can enjoy a swim and rest. After a short transfer (approx. 20 meters), the trip continues towards Sielen. Once you reach the Sielen weir, the boats are transferred using the boat trolleys. At the re-entry there is a nice rest area with covered seating, which invites you to linger.

The second stage towards Stammen combines everything the Diemel has to offer (in our opinion the most beautiful section of the Diemel): leisurely passages, small and large rapids and a fantastic landscape with some jungle-like situations.

The tour ends at the Hofgut, where you have the opportunity to round off the eventful day in the beer garden or the rustic restaurant.
